Robb, planning on keeping it. Going to put it up right above my cassette display case. I'll keep you in mind if I consider selling it.
Ok thanks.

I Think the original 1980 poster had the Its worth it logo on the bottom right ?

The picture, Steve Steigman’s "Blown Away" predates Hitachi's use of the image by some years - source: Miller's Guide - so the original didn't have any connection with Hitachi's advert for tape but ironically, also according to the current Miller's, prints from the original run, although far less common than the branded ones, are worth less money than those with the slogan.

Yes, the original does have the Maxell logo at the bottom. Whomever framed this one cropped the top and bottom black parts. Although, they were nice enough to cut the "it's worth it" part out and leave it in the back.

Maybe that was done to make an advertising poster resemble the original piece by Steigman? It's featured on page 11 of a 2008 edition of Miller's and the full story is in there.

There's a print from the original piece HERE.

Seems pretty cheap for a proper original without the advertising slogan on it. Look lively though, the promotion ends in a couple of days and then the prices are back to normal.
