Some great finds there. That Ever Ready truck is a nice find for $1.
The Panasonic TV is also a winner. Panasonic had some really nice, organic designs in the 70s.
Check out this similarly styled Panasonic 855 calculator from 1972 - cost you a weeks wagers back then: ;-)
No, I paid more for the truck.. read again.

That truck is extra rare in the blue Ever Ready livery, most were finished in the red and carried the sister company's name - Exide.
Last blue one I saw at a local roup sold for £90 - without the original box that would have more than doubled the value - to a collector who'd travelled from Belgium to bid.

Look after it and its value is highly unlikely to drop. :-)

Fabulous haul there!

I have the same Sony clock radio here in my collection but unfortunately, it's an American set so it reads only 50 minutes for every hour because of our 50Hz AC supply. It's a slippery slope from here on in as you will now want other synchronous clocks to go with that. They're great things as they're flawlessly accurate timekeepers. When you have a supply with the same refresh rate as the device that is!

i love that panasonic car radio , i took my nice jvc head unit out of my jeep and threw in an old skool kenwood cassette radio , i love it sounds killer , with some help from a fosgate amplifier it just belts out the sound like a champ.

Picked up this vintage 1983 Sharp VC-381 VCR for free from a house clearance. I didnt test it.
Brought it home, cleaned it up and tested it. Everything seems to work.
The thing weighs a ton !
Here's some pics and video.

Amazing! These old Sharps are about as good as a monaural, analogue VCR gets, built to last and almost as good as Betamax or Philips-Grundig V2k format for picture quality. May I ask how on earth you always manage to be where this wonderful electronic treasure is?

Hi, heres my pickups for weekend of Sept 8 2013.

First up is a vintage 1981 Electrohome Model C55-131 Color TV.
Got it for $5 bucks at an estate sale. Work perfect.
It's manufactured by Samsung.

Next up I Picked up this vintage Panasonic RC-6010 Alarm Flip Clock Radio at an estate sale for $5 bucks.
It is in near mint condition, no scratches. Works 100% ! Incredible find !
I believe these were made in the mid - late 1970's.
Here's a video of it as well:

Lastly, I got this 1971-72 Tonka Pickup plow truck at a garage sale near my house for only $6 bucks!
