I have a super weak FM and AM signal on my Sharp GF-777z, what can I do to replace or fix the problem, I don't want to add any extra antenna

i would check to see if the antenna wires are plugged in on the inside of the box .
aside from that you could try cleaning the band selector and function switches.

Dirty switches might be the problem or something much more serious. Unfortunately in this case, antennas are not the problem because the aerials only affect FM. The AM antenna is completely different and is the ferrite rod located within. Since both FM and AM share this problem, it must be something other than the antenna.

My 777Z seems to be weak (compared to my 777H) when hunting for a FM signal too.

I get one or two station not really good and the stereo light doesn't come on at all, But I guess thats because of the weak signel
