recently boombox prices in thrift stores around here have been going down lately.
most boxes seem to be sitting between 15-30 dollars now.
back this time last year they were 20-50 dollars on average.
what about in your areas have the prices been going down or up.
it seems since the economy tanked prices have dropped on somethings quite a bit.
at least here.

Hi everyone-I haven't seen any boomers in my local Goodwill lately.
Just clocks and cameras and the usual.
I'm going tomorrow-weekends are crappy because everyone goes on Saturdays and Sunday's.Weekdays are the best.
I'll let you know to.
Have a great one-GB. :-)

i am always surprised how many of you guys have no luck at the thrift stores down there.
i mean up here theres always something.
its very interesting how different it is from here in british columbia.
the thrift stores in this uk sized province are usually pretty good from one end to the other.
yes this single province is the size of the entire uk.
the further out you go the better it seems to be as well.

The selection in my area is really poor, cameras, crappy 90's walkmens and the occasional junky egg but nothing worth noting. I have also become more selective, I've walked away from a few mediocre boxes the last 8 to 10 months. The prices though seem to be in the $6 to $20 range for what does show up which isn't bad but to me anything more than free is to much for most of these.
