Anyone here like old Honda's ?
I'm a 1988-1991 CRX and civic enthusiast.

Here's some pics of my 1988 civic, 1990 CRX and 1991 Civic Si.

Here's some pictures of my 1990 Crx Si. I'm the 3rd owner since June 2006.
The original owner kept it for 2.5 years then sold it. It has only seen 1 winter in 1991.
It has been rustproofed every year pretty much,
It came with full service records, as well as a Monthly Microsoft Word service log.

The person I bought it from is a teacher in Scotland, and came back to Ontario every summer and used the CRX during that period only.
I also have the original bill of sale, from the original owner, who still had it.
He was kind enough to mail it to me.
Anyways, on to pics. (special thanks to Bas Groot for these photos)

Well it's defenitely not a CRX for the most part, the way I see it, it's a CRX with 2 extra rear seats ! LOL

I purchased this car October 2nd, 2009 from the 2nd owner with 105,000 kms. The previous owner bought it in 2007 and drove it for only 5,000 kms until it was stored. This car was first owned by Bill Gardiner of Motoring TV on TSN. Recently, the car was mentioned on an episode of motoring TV in early Jan 2010.
Here's a lil video clip from a Motoring TV episode:

NEW HKS EXHAUST:

Some interior snaps:

Well I finished my engine bay detail.. took about 4 days total.

I used WD-40 and a paintbrush and 4 microfiber towels.
Works amazing on 20 year old buildup of dirt and rustproofing. No joke. ;)
Car had been sitting for 10+ years.. Buildup of rustproofing and dust on it takes its toll.

Nice. I've owned two Hondas; a 1983 Triumph Acclaim and a 1986 Rover 213 which replaced it, these were known as Honda Ballade in the rest of the world. Both came with Hondamatics, it's a brilliant alternative to conventional automatic transmission but even that didn't save both from ending their working lives sat in a breaker's yard on top of a pile of other cars. The rust got them and by then, they were both worth more for scrap in any case. A shame as some argue that the Acclaim was the car that saved the UK car industry and they probably have a point.

Great little cars, back from when they still used double-wishbone suspension which kept the fenders low. Unlike today's Hondas which are nothing special IMO.

I'm not much of a Honda fan but I remember when I was young and they started to sell in the states my uncle bought one and he and my Aunt drove me to Belvidere Illinois to take me to a seminary for a weekend. Yeah it's funny I thought about becoming a priest. But that all changed when I knew I liked girls more

Huge Honda fan here. All but 2 of the cars I have ever owned have been Honda's.
My favorite by far was my 89 CRX that I drove for 6 years as a commuter car. Great little car that consistently got 40 mpg for my 90 miles a day commute. After 235K miles was running great till one day the timing belt snapped.....valves bent etc.....! Cost to repair well exceeded the car value. Sad day for me.
