can a different function switch be used for lasonic trc 931?

can you order a switch online that will work with the trc 931? maybe one that can go on the left side of the radio. all you would need to know is what contacts are being used for each selection. you can just run wires from the board to the new switch

That's what I always thought too. I think superduper made a comment once on adding a regular switch and case mounting it somewhere so you could at least switch the functions..... I bet you could once you figure out what solder points are.

But without a scheme it will be awfully hard figuring out the joints :hmmm:
