Little Battery Problem

I have a little problem with my Sharp 777 for some reason it doesn't work on batteries, the compartment looks clean can i get some advise so I know what to look for when I open it. :thumbsup:

could be the spring tab where you insert the cord sometimes it does not make contact when the plug is removed to switch over to dc power.

Yeah it's probably micro switch where cord plugs into back of unit. Could be corroded/rusty :yes:
