mmmm

:-D My name is Royce. I will be in the mid-fifties on April 29th. I started loving electronic items from 1966. My love for it started when I was very young and opened my dad's Murphy tube radio when he was away, to check if there were little people in it. The curiosity and love for electronics is still there. Love this beautiful forum and members! God Bless you all!

Dave, 41, collecting for 10 years may be a bit less, can''t remember getting old etc. Was brought up without these in my life due to poverty, so making up for it later in life
New found love of dabbling in electronics and trying to learn as I go with help of great members here.
I enjoy the old school hip hop music from the states and all of the godfathers of the genre. i really like reading and looking at pics of other peoples collections and generally enjoying the hobby.

Whole home.

We use Crestron at work to manage classroom teaching audio visual equipment. They seem like a decent company and the equipment is good.

John, 48 years on this planet, part time college development coordinator, working with special needs students who want to work in engineering and the other part of the time I work for a small charity that provides furniture to people fleeing domestic abuse, political refugees and others in housing crisis.

The SAC-05L in the picture - a fresh picture taken a few minutes ago with my laptop webcam - is one that I was given as an 18th birthday present by my parents so I've owned that for a shade over 30 years now and it still works, in spite of having been the least reliable piece of equipment ever. I love it though.

My best little guy (the only one!) around christmastime sporting some 'tude
Lately he has an imaginary friend who "wants to play with him later because right now he's a bit busy fixing a boombox" Serously that was only one time!! I was so tired of thomas the tank engine!

A touch of modeling in berlin (Susan is a snap addict) Both boxes were nabbed that morning at a flea market, the sexy Sanyo went via SuperDuper to Ira and arrived as a swan! The Blaupunkt went to Florida too i think, not sure of the buyer. Ebay selling boomboxes while traveling = crazy fun :-D

Alright, I'll chime in.
My name is Aram (yes, that's how it's spelled). 33 years old. I have been collecting for about one year. It happened by accident when a C-100 fell out of the sky and interrupted my golf game. Anyway...I'm a Licensed Construction Supervisor for a mid-sized Metro-Boston roofing company. That's a fancy name for someone who has a CS license and a good rapport with building inspectors (think "petrolium transfer technician").
I don't have any pics of myself with any blasters, but this is me at my Mom's house in PSL, FL playing with the web cam and checking craigslist for blasters before leaving for the Stuart Flea. Didn't score any blasters that day, but got some minty B.B. King Lp's.
