ADQ Super/LN60 Type 1 Reel Cassette

Saw this on eBay with a cheap BIN a few weeks ago and had to hop on it:

I bought it thinking it was white/blue but it turned out it was silver/blue. Regardless, it's a cool-ass tape that matches a few of my boxes perfectly!

Anybody ever see these before?

That is some pretty sweet... 'adquipment' you got there. I love those old reel cassettes.

Nice!...I do love those reel to reel tapes. They look very like these Eagle ones which I have a few of...maybe the same product but with different printing?

I highly doubt it, besides, these ADQ's are far more rare... Those Eagle tapes are as readily available on eBay as Reel Clear's but way cheaper.

I have few of those , and indeed thats really bad picture of them . In live they are so cool, and love the silver/blue shade of the reels. Have a few sealed of them too :yes:

You're likely right...I know diddly about tapes, I just collect a few as a side line to my boombox obsession. My expert opinion will run to something as advanced as 'ooh I like those, they're shiny' :blush:

I can't resist any sealed tapes I see in charity shops tho, just picked up 8 sealed EMTEC CEII half an hour ago to add to my pile...no idea whether they're any good tho :lol:

I agree with Mono - for example - i have more than 150 eagles ( at least 100 still sealed) and 5 of those ADQ which i bought for more cash than all eagles :yes:

Actually, I took those pictures. Haha!

But yeah, almost all of the pictures I've seen of these tapes make it look white... They're hard to photograph to make the silver actually look like silver. :-/

Im deffo the worst photograph in the world , but have this old picture which i took a while ago . Sort of better idea about the color :yes:

I know they are LH , but the problem with the color is same.

Unfortunately the graphics spin the wrong way on Play :lol:

You have to use RW to spin it the right way, but then it's going too fast to hypnotise you :lol:

Actually, the LN60's are painted silver, while the LH60's are clear coat over metal - totally different look:

Doesn't matter to me anymore 'cause I'll take 'em both! Haha!
