Got last days 2 very similar boxes.
But in detail very different.
So take time for a short compare ;-)

Here the LANICO from the flea

And here the LASONIC from the tram-depot after a first big clean

The speakers at the LANICO are looking a littlebit cheap.
And the sticker says: Discolite

The LASONIC also owns the flashing LED inside
But you must play very loud to get it glow
The speaker is looking more massive

The front of the LANICO is very clear made

The LASONIC is more colorful

The equalizer therefore is at the LANICO nicer looking

LASONIC adds a graphic diagram

The knobs at the LANICO are littlebit more elegant and all together

At the LASONIC are switches between them

The scale of the LANICO is more decent.
Label at the left side

More colorful scale at the LASONIC.
and label at the right

Also the tapedoors are different looking.
Red label left, blue right
And the buttons of the LANICO are different

Blue left, red right at the LASONIC
And the buttons are not so solid

Also the back is different in many details
And only the LANICO owns a 12V DC plug :-O

Top view.
Only the LANICO owns stop-clips for the detachable speakers
LASONIC none :hmmm:

But both boxes are real keepers.
If you find one for cheap - get it!
Big box, big fun :surf:

:agree: :breakdance:

Very difficoult, maybe they are too similar.
And i got a second problem, i was afraid when i plugged it off.

Inside the LASONIC must be a weak condensator or so.
This box was played endless over 15years.

Now plugged off.
Yesterday when starting, the speakers makes some scratchy noise.
After a few minutes gone... :hmmm:

Same at evening.
2 minutes rumbling, then clear...

Yesterday at "Antenne Wien" was the Oldie Party running.
Best of 80´s :sin:
So what better to take out the LANICO and a few discolites and get the Party started... :w00t:

Sorry, bad handypics

Great Review, I love these!

It looks like the Lanico gave you a few more features, speaker clips, 12v, ect...but stange is says "Discolite" and there is no disco light! :-P

Over all they look VERY close, but I must say, I like the look of those BEEFY Lasonic Speakers.

Great review comparison, Roman!! I'm yet to add either box to my collection, but LOVE the Lasonic.
The graphic under the LED meter is the same as the one on the original 931 too!

If you need the buttons for the Lasonic PM me and I can send you back the ones you sent me as MONOLITHIC sent me a set to
match my original 931.

Rock On.
