I recently was watching the video for My Hearts a Stereo and saw my radio in the video. I really had no idea it was so special. I started looking into it and quickly found out how popular it is. So, I have a great box but it need work on both tape decks. I am technically impaired so I was just wondering what the best way would be to go about getting the radio restored to it's original working condition. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Dear fellow newbe, I started off reading as much of the posts as possible, just to get familiar with with the terms. Truthfully I never owned such a huge boombox before and I guess I'm reliving my teenage years . By reading the old posts it gave me perspective and knowledge. There is a HUGE amount of info on decks here. You have a great looking box, good luck :)

Welcome  great box. A bit of a hint. The conion is not as easy to work on as one may think. Try and find a local electronics repair shop....there are an astronomical amount of wires that are all same colors/amount which makes it difficult to put back together in right plugs, Especially if you have never done it before ;-) good luck!!
