Hey I just joined this today because i need help in getting my iphone 4 to work with my boombox that I just got today. I tested this out with both an ipod touch and my iphone 4 and when i plug the ipod touch into the casette player thing it works fine and doesn't make the bookbox power off. When i plug my iphone 4 in it plays music for like a minute then it just turns off all by itself i don't get it. Everything else works fine such as the aux option with my iphone 4 but it is everytime i plug it in horizontally into the boombox dock it just decides to power off automatically. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Send it back for exchange... I have 2 of them. An all black and a White/Black!!! I have no problems with my iPhone 4s.....

I mean it works fine maybe it's the possibility that it does that because my phone is jailbroken?
Could be... Mine is not jail broken so since the new electronics are more computerized then that may be issue. You can try and find someone else with IPhone 4 that's not jail broke and try it...Dunneskiii0030 said:

Well this morning I tried my brother iPhone 4S and it worked perfectly fine then I tried my phone and it shutdown again. So, I upgraded the software and my phone is now not jailbroken, however I plugged it in again and it is still shutting down. I guess I'm just going to have to replace my phone since I have insurance on it.
