Fixing a broken bottom door. (Lots of Pics.)

I just got the Conion C100F and I decided to just dive in and fix the door. I wasn't worried about making it look perfect, just as strong if not stronger than original.
Let me know what you think....

I wish I wouldn't have used my cell phone but, What ever.

It started out Dirty and cracked in two spots, a piece missing, one of the slide tabs missing, and the spring retainer broken.


I drilled the crack to stop it from spreding and it alows more area for the Plastic Welder (product) to stick to

And it is ready to put back in after a little sanding

I have put it back in and it works perfect and is strong!!! When I tear down the box the next time I will then repaint it.

I didn't get a good pict. of the end result but it does look good. and it sanded prety smooth. I will get more pict added when I get it painted and NO More Phone Camera!!

Nice job getting that back in order.


These trays were put in the worst place on any boombox :nonono: .
