ok-- --this is surely not a thesis for perfectionists-
but here are some fun $ easy CRACK COVERS-
as nothing is more ugly than a big crack with MISSING pieces -- right !! :'-(

hairline cracks are tough enough as it is --
sanding , glue jobs, more sanding , matching paints :-O
finish coats -- buffing .... etc etc
---------------------
but lets say you have a box thats great to USE and HEAR --
but its not your absolute favorite -- or some rare once-in-a -lifetime find

and it has a horrendous crack with a CAVE at the missing chunk (S)

do you really want to spend your youth :-D
on a total OEM cosmetic repair ??
for THAT box

true --some of you may love this work and the challenge --understandable -

but for those that just want to get this daily driver 'back on the road '
and in the league of presentable ---from a few feet away ;-)

then -- go to your local hobby store -
if you like working with wood -
they all carry small sheets of 3/32" thick aircraft plywood - VERY strong
and easy to cut & paint

or -- ace hardware and/or the hobby store will sell 1/16" thick small sheets of aluminum -
great for repairs around corners
--------------------------

look a joes (bloooo fuz ) fubar m71 tuner panel -- :'-( what a PITA to fix ( without a donor parts panel )
then look at my panel --its 1/8" doorskin ply from lowes --

paint it any color -- matching or not --
i like it !!!
was fast and fun to make

part 2 -- my m90
coming soon
