I recently purchased this nice panasonic on flea and I need to cleaning it and spraying the pots, but I have a problem with taking it apart :hmmm:
I have removed all screws from backside and I still can't remove the front panel from the place.
It seem that the cassette door holders is key for this but i can't figure out how to remove it the cassette door from the own place without using too much force.
It look like the holders of the door is fixed on the shaft of the tape deck buttons.

Did any of you have experience with this?
Any help will appreciated

Update: I missed to say that the door is build in one piece.

Bill is correct.
I think on that model you have to remove the whole door assembly to get it apart.
I've worked on a RX-5025 a longgggg time ago so I'm not a 100% sure......

Many panny's you have to slide up on door to get off frame :hmmm:

Bill is correct! You need to "gently" slide the transparent part of the door in upward direction. In some cases the lower area of the transparent plastic part comes out to the front and then you slide it up. Take a good look from the side to learn more about how it is held in position. Posting pictures from the side would be of great help!
