Dead 931

Hey guys,
was at work with a 2nd gen 931, cranking the music and all of a sudden the music got quieter, and quieter then it was silent. :'-(

Took the batteries out, and plugged her in to the wall, Nothing
got a new set of batteries from walgreens (duracell coppertops) and still nothing,took her apart, and all is where it needs to be.
:'-(
At a loss for words. never had this happen before

Any suggestions?

Transformer? Dibs on your Duracells

If its still powering then sounds like a failed component Did you try all functions, tape, line in or radio

function selector is broken, I used it for Line in.

It is dead as a door nail right now, I will try and find a transformer somewhere.

(kinda busy lol, prepping my Monte carlo for paint)

If its not working with batteries then it's not transformer. Check for dc power using meter at red and black wires attached from rear cover by transformer to main board in front box and let us know if your getting 15 - 18 volts.
