Working on a new project. I believe everyone interested in boombox will find this project interesting when done. It will be shared when complete.

** To keep the pages looking manageable, Please do not quote this entire post when responding. Quoting and editing the pertinent portion is fine if adding to it.

NEED: List of boombox makes and models. I've included what I know so far. I've completely left out makes that I don't really collect or have information on. Feel free to add a manufacturer and all known models in that lineup (i.e. Lasonic).

NEED: "original" pictures if possible -- don't have to be large. 800x600, 640x480, even 320x240 will work. MUST be original and not copied from somebody else, or I can't use it. You can PM me if need be. Interested in writeups or DATA for any model too. PM me if you have something like that.

INCLUDE: any portable audio gear is fine, whether Radio, Cassette, Radio/Cassette, walkman, TV/Radio/Cassette, iPod-MP3 (i.e. TDK) etc.

Here's MY list. Help me complete it. (correct anything that is wrong).

norm --during the next few weeks --i can take photos of some of my boxes that are on the above list --

but first --to avoid duplication --
i think we both have LOTS of the exact same models --

so- its important to list only the box photos wanted -- that you really dont already have ..

right ??

Ira,

True. But to give a gallery some variety, it's nice to see photos in different settings since all photos taken from me will look exactly the same. And I have nowhere near all the boomboxes in that list. Just a small fraction, if that.

But besides photos, I was hoping someone could look at my list and see what models might be missing from the list and fill in the blanks.

@K2J: Thanks! You are a Sharp guy for sure.
