Here's some photos of my Lasonic TRC-975 potentiometer.
I took it out and have diassasembled the volume potentiometer and it I believe isn't the same as the mic volume pot.
I think the insides are different!
There was nothing left but a plastic wheel and no wonder there was no contact going on.
Is there a brass thingy thast is supposed to be in here?
I think they are both 50K pots,I have the #'s and another view and will post it soon here.
I hope I can get this fixed or another one as I have a 975 that is unlistenable!! :-/

Have a good one-GB. :-)

Yep there are little metal fingers that are sorta melted to the black part of the knob. they do break off. I suspect that some contact cleaners could actually speed up the process too.

took apart the 50K volume pot on my goldstar and this had happend. little super glue and whamo works. I'll try to do a good pic/write up next time I attempt it though.

good luck sounds like your on the right track

oh, sometimes you can borrow pots from say mic volume or another unused or rarely used and swap it...thats what I did on one of my M70 sliders - it was missing the metal fingers so I stole one off the mic volume pot and at least the volume works great now!

Why havn't you put up a wanted ad for a wheely volume pot? Or ordered the 100K pot from ebay?

I really put some time into helping with this volume pot issue you are having, and I have already found you 2 cheap options :hmmm: . Get on it man!

Looks like a "NOBLE" brand POT.

"T NOBLE" 3BM50K L

Maybe you can get ahold of that company and see if they have any or can rebuild yours  :hmmm:

I looked inside of 2 different TRC-951 boxes today and they both have the same volume pot as the TRC-975.......

Hey JEFF! :w00t:

I am working on my Wheely right now and I believe the wheely has the EXACT SAME VOLUME POT you need! I'm going to check it over again soon and confirm it is the same one you need. If it is, you can PM some other members here that are parting out some wheelies.

Maybe Glu has one or blasterpunk!!!!!!
