I have a 935 and the short wave radio doesn't work. Any ideas on this. Am/Fm work great and when I switch to SW there is no noise, no static...just silence. I spin the dial and go all the way across the band and nothing. Thoughts??

possible, but I would've thought I would hear static or hiss at least. There is nothing. But like I said, it's possible. Trust me, I'd rather it be that than the sw band be broken.

Could definately be a function switch/dirty contact issue.

However keep this in mind, the SW band is often not that noisy and most importantly SW signals usually propogate the best at night time and they can be hard to tune in the day. There is quite a few out there though.

So try this again in the night time, there is a possibility that the tuner for SW is so weak that it can't manage to pick up SW in the day.

Thanks, didn't think of the night time thing. Will give it a try. Already de-oxed the switch, so I hope this might work
