Can anyone verify whether or not lasonic 931 and/or crown sz-5100 drivers fit into the GF-9000? and are they suitable rating wise?

I am going to change over mine for obvious reasons and i need to know what will work and what won't.

Are there any other alternative (out of another box) to what i mentioned above?

Cheers,
Scott

What are the specs on the back of the magnets? I have like 4 sets of 8's in all ohm ratings. Let me know.

Originals are 3.2 ohm so 4 ohm would suffice. :yes:

Original looks ----> Crown speakers

Better sound ----> Lasonic speakers.

Just my two cents ;-)

Jboogie, PM sent your way.

Would the lasonic 931 speaker be too deep (measurement wise) to fit the 9000? And what about the crown?

Sorry Scott I don't own either radio. The only radios with 8's that I have are the following:
C-100
C-126
Super Jumbo (Radio Raheem)
M90
If ya have any of these could you compare the depth with any of them? Let me know.

I know that an old member "rimmer" put M90 ones in his 9000. So that would work! What ohm rating are they by the way?

If the M90 drivers are 6ohm, then let me know which are 4ohm. And are the 4ohm drivers that you have equal to or less in depth of the M90 ones.
