check this guy out on ebay,he is on stereo2go,he does repairs on walkmans,and if you scroll down he has 2 videos,he really does look like he knows what he is doing,we need more people like this,they are so few and far between these days..i just thought he deserves a mention..

Yes he does, but it would be expensive since you're in the U.K.
I bought one of his repaired dd walkmans and it works great! I've also bought a reel table from him to fix my wm-10.

I wonder if he does any other brands. I still have a JVC mini with detachable cassette player that needs work. I pulled it apart for cleaning but it's soooo tiny I needed a magnifying glass for the screws. That's the only reason I haven't got around to rest of the work.
...And, yes, I did put it back together. (BIG job for such a small box.)

He's a good guy, you should try him out. he knows his stuff inside out and it's reasonably priced.
