Hi Guys
Is there anyway I can access the back of the speaker grills on this radio so i can attempt to bend back out the speaker grilles ? Is this an easy radio to do an internal clean ?

Thanks :breakdance:

I can post a photo after christmas. It looks exatcly the same as the 3D80e I am pretty sure. I am a bit of a novice with opening up boxes - any links to tips on giving internal maintenance. i.e. where to spray deoxit etc.

Using some thin wire or something else hook shaped you can usually thread it through the speaker grill holes then around and back out. You can then pull the wire gently to pop the grills back out. A goog idea is to thread string through the holes, this eliminates the risk of scratching the paintwork on the grills.

Good luck!

Glue is spot on, I've also used a small fish hook in the past with a pair of pliers to pull out dents in my 3D's
