Hi everyone,I recently got a Sharp GF-800Z and there was a layer
of suit on everything inside but have done some cleaning-especially
the cassettes which are working now.
It does have a weak power supply as it distorts past 1/2 way and way
more on cassette as the motor draws power more than the radio.
Well I tested it on batteries and it sounds great! Just not as loud
as I'd like on cassette but it's not distorting!!
This is good news but I still can't get am in but I'm going to test
The voltage outputs tomorrow out of the power supply.
Does anyone have any suggestions on this symptom??
Is it the caps I wonder or the ac power supply? After testing maybe
I can figure out more about what's going on.
I'm just happy it does work ok on batteries!
One dumb thing I did was there was a small dent on the left speaker
And after taking the speaker apart the white foam that covers the grill
started to crumble when I tried to get the grill pushed back out.
It now has a small hole in the grill cover(the whit foam covering)
I wonder how I'm going to fix his now.
I just got the good news that I'm getting a partial refund as the power
Supply issue was not known.
I'm getting a $30.00 refund so i only got this for 35.00!
Any suggestions let me know,I'd appreciate it!
