How much do you think it's worth? I bought one for 90 bucks.

The seller is a member here, although he doesn't post much.

Hi stereomann, in my very humble opinion, it is a high price... and yes, those spectrum analyzer "lights" (blue) are painted. The lights on the equalizer however are real (red). That boombox goes also by the name of Dynasty 959 Wheely, Helix Wheely 5000... take a closer look at one working 100%

Maybe we're witnessing the peak here of ****ING STUPID PRICES - I sure hope it's the nadir

As all these high prices are making me even more reluctant to pay more than 75 pound for a box

Absolute joke!
It is a desirable box to some but I reckon a super mint one might fetch $500.
Not my cup of tea though......

That thing weighs about 10 lbs,............ :annoyed:

not mib it needs belts,, cassette door broken of hinge held by velcro ok and u want 2,500 :hmmm: :hmmm: lets get real with this i do understand that vintage gear especially boomboxes fetch up some good money.. some people because of sentimental value buy a box at higher than normal price ..i know all of us have been there,, if the box was mint i mean mint i could see me paying maybe 1,200 the most , now if he was sending 2 of them then :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

Haha, so true.

Non working cassette, and that door is broken - no freaking way because you will wait an ETERNITY for replacement parts.

A good to honest amount I would pay, knowing what they have been selling for is....... $300 assuming I could fix the cassette door at least.
