Hey yall

Just got a 955 in reasonable shape, all seems to be ok, tape is running fast, but ok with MP3 - SD cassette so ok.

But.

The line in is a 5 pin DIN, and when I play from my ipod the sound is dreadful. All squelchy and mashed up.

Tape and Radio are 100%, any ideas ????

Cheers dears

Are you using a home made DIN adapter or is it one off the 'Bay? :hmmm:

Spray some contact cleaner in the plug holes and plug and unplug the DIN jack a few times.
I had a similar issue on my VZ2500  .
If this does not help, try to not plug it in completely and then push it to left/right/up/down a little. That already happened to me before - the DIN jack are just not the crown of the evolution
