Yall

Just got this old beater, and sort of love it.

Problem is that the cassette she ain't working, and its one of those dual cassette jobs.

Belts look ok, but the motor does not move, only a little movement when the machine is moved from Radio to tape (about 1/2 a second).

Any ideas, motor done ??, lube needed??

Cheers all.

Only seems to be one belt (from the motor to the main capstan).

No movement at all from the motor, other than for a split second when the unit is placed from radio to tape. Other than that, the cassette mechanics look in fine nick.

Hi
I purchased that great piece of player. Unfortunately 90min cassettes don't play at all. Only 60min. Is it a motor problem or belt? What do u believe ?
