Aiwa TPR 990 neets help

Hello, dear members, I am a new member from germany
I have prepared an Aiwa TPR 990 bought to me problems.
The cassette deck does not function, the lower part him the keys operates by an engine has been diminished by the cassette deck and I do not get together this exact.
Can help me anyone ???

hi and welcome to the site yes the aiwa 990 as the aiwa 968 which also uses that same deck 2 motors one to drive the capstan the other for the logic deck controls,,up to now the only thing i have encountered was a fusible resistor that get burned out where the bottom motor does not work ,,but that was my case everything was good on the rest so i replaced the belts which were melted.. so basicly not sure if you are having the same problem but remember every case is different.......
