I am about to drive off to a fellow boombox collector in Berlin who is going to help me fix the decks on my Conion and take care of the FM Stereo problem  .
Sadly he is not a member here but maybe I can convince him today  ;-)

I'll report back later when I am listening to some tapes on the box :w00t: :-D

Adjusting a variable resistor on the tuner board labelled 'VR1' more often than not fixes the FM Stereo problem.

i hate working on the conion decks especially the top one , those two tiny screws that hold the cover over the belts on the top deck are a pita to get out ,you need a very good strong jewelers phillips screwdriver to get them out :annoyed: , good luck max  .
